About Us
The Southern Insurance Group is an all-inclusive commercial insurance agency established in 2008. Recruited as the VP of Commercial Lines, David Johnson manages the South West Florida territory and has an active role in client risk management oversight.
David received his BSBA from the University of Central Florida and holds a Florida 2-20 General Lines Property and Casualty license. Added to these credentials, his insurance sales experience over the past 25 years has afforded to him strong relationships with commercial insurance underwriters.
Many customers don’t realize that prior to sitting in front of business owners with an insurance proposal; we have approached multiple insurance carriers on their behalf. Your independent agent performs a dual role as a risk manager for the client while selling their account to multiple insurance underwriters to negotiate the best premium with an A rated insurance carrier!
